Structured course paths for practical AI skills

Six guided modules form the Singapore AI School syllabus — from AI fundamentals through a capstone demonstration project. Each course path is vocational training for Singapore professionals and residents: hands-on modules with generative AI tools, skills checkpoints and facilitator feedback at our Raffles Place campus. Fees are indicative in SGD; enrolment does not confer university credit or MOE accreditation.

Singapore AI School delivers structured vocational training in practical AI skills for work and daily life in Singapore. Certificates confirm course participation only. We operate as a private course provider — not an MOE-registered school and not part of any government programme unless clearly stated. We make no promises about jobs, salary, income or other results. AI tools can be wrong — use your own judgment for important decisions. This is skills training, not legal, financial, medical or investment advice.
Facilitator leading hands-on AI module session

Course Path 01 · 2 weeks

Course Path 01 — AI Fundamentals for Singaporeans

This opening module builds AI literacy for Singapore learners who are new to generative AI. You will explore how ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude and Gemini differ, when to choose each tool, and how AI-assisted work fits into everyday tasks without replacing professional judgment. Step-by-step lessons cover account setup, interface navigation, basic prompt writing and verifying AI output before you share results with colleagues. Facilitators use Singapore workplace examples — meeting summaries, draft emails and simple research — so concepts feel relevant to the local market. The course path emphasises responsible AI use from day one: privacy boundaries, PDPA-aware habits and knowing what not to paste into public AI tools. By the end, participants can describe AI use cases in their role, run a structured first prompt and apply a short checklist for AI output quality. No coding background is required; beginner-friendly pacing with cohort learning support throughout.

Bright modern AI classroom for workplace skills training

Course Path 02 · 2 weeks

Course Path 02 — Hands-On AI for the Workplace

Move from theory into guided practice with AI workflows tailored to office environments across Singapore. Learners practise AI productivity routines: drafting reports, restructuring bullet points, extracting action items from notes and using AI in spreadsheets for light analysis — always with human review. The hands-on module introduces AI automation patterns you can repeat weekly, such as template prompts for status updates and AI writing support for client-facing documents. Sessions take place in our modern AI classroom with pair exercises and facilitator checkpoints. You will compare outputs across tools, learn when Copilot integrates best with Microsoft 365 and when Claude or ChatGPT suits longer reasoning tasks. Workplace AI skills include organising files with AI summaries, preparing meeting briefs and building a personal prompt library. Upskilling professionals and small-business owners benefit equally; reskilling paths welcome mid-career learners adjusting to new AI expectations in their industry.

Two learners practising AI prompts together

Course Path 03 · 2 weeks

Course Path 03 — Writing Prompts that Work

Prompt writing is the core skill behind reliable generative AI results. This course path teaches a structured approach: context, task, format, constraints and verification steps — applied to real Singapore professional scenarios. You will rewrite weak prompts, diagnose vague AI answers and build reusable prompt blocks for documents, email and research. Facilitators demonstrate how small wording changes affect AI output quality, and learners practise iterative refinement in live drills. Topics include role prompts, few-shot examples, tone control for formal correspondence and safe handling of confidential information. The module connects to everyday AI tasks without drifting into software engineering or machine-learning engineering degrees. Skills checkpoints ensure each participant leaves with at least five production-ready prompts mapped to their job function, plus a personal guide for checking facts and citing sources where required. Ideal for Singapore residents who use AI daily but want clearer, more consistent outcomes from their tools.

Singapore learner working on AI communication and content exercises

Course Path 04 · 2 weeks

Course Path 04 — AI for Communication & Content

Communication roles — marketing, operations, HR, client service and leadership — benefit from disciplined AI for documents and email. This hands-on module covers drafting and editing workflows: turning rough notes into polished updates, adapting one message for multiple channels and maintaining brand voice with AI writing support under human oversight. Learners practise slide outlines, FAQ drafts, internal announcements and sensitive wording reviews where tone matters in Singapore’s multicultural workplace. The syllabus includes AI use cases for content calendars, social copy first drafts and summarising feedback — always with explicit verification steps. Facilitators address common pitfalls: over-long outputs, unsupported claims and generic phrasing that sounds unlike your organisation. In-person and online classes share the same structured syllabus; cohort learning peers review each other’s before-and-after samples. Completion adds practical AI skills for confident daily communication, not a creative agency retainer or guaranteed audience growth.

Course Path 05 — Using AI Responsibly & Safely

Responsible AI use is non-negotiable for vocational training at Singapore AI School. This module covers privacy, consent, bias awareness, hallucination risks and organisational policies learners may encounter in the Singapore market. You will study PDPA-aligned habits: minimising personal data in prompts, using enterprise accounts where available and documenting when AI assisted a document. Facilitators walk through red-team exercises — prompts that leak context, outputs that invent citations and scenarios requiring escalation to a manager or legal reviewer. The responsible-AI module also addresses equity and clarity: when AI summaries misrepresent meetings, when translated content loses nuance and when automation should stop. Participants build a team-ready checklist for verifying AI output before external send. Evening campus sessions suit working professionals; self-paced readers receive the same case studies with forum Q&A. This is ethics and safety training for everyday AI tasks — not compliance certification, not legal advice and not a substitute for your employer’s official policy.

Learner presenting capstone AI demonstration project to cohort

Capstone · 2 weeks

Capstone — Singapore AI School Demonstration Project

The capstone integrates every prior course milestone into one documented demonstration project you present to your learning cohort. Choose a workflow from your workplace or personal projects — for example, a weekly report pipeline, a client onboarding email sequence or a research brief process — and rebuild it with structured prompts, AI automation where appropriate and explicit human review gates. Facilitators coach you on scope: projects must be achievable in two weeks, safe under PDPA principles and honest about limitations. You will deliver a short presentation at our Raffles Place campus or via video, showing before-and-after samples, your prompt library and your responsible AI checklist in action. Peers and facilitators provide skills checkpoint feedback focused on clarity and repeatability, not flashy demos. Graduates receive a participation certificate reflecting training completion only — not professional certification, not MOE recognition and not a job guarantee. Many alumni continue with corporate AI training or alumni Q&A forums listed on our Services page.
